How do you cart a dead dolphin off the beach? Slowly.....He doesn't look that big but he weighed in at 245 pounds. Marine Mammal Center volunteers taking the body to our hospital in Sausalito, Ca for a post-mortem examination.

Free of his entanglement, owner of a complimentary tag, and no worse for the wear, he swam off to rejoin his buddies in the harbor. He did pause for a few moments about 40 yards away and stare at us. Either it was a thanks or a WTF just happened.
